I’m Sean McGillicuddy. I’m an architect working in the D.C. area.

I’ve been interested in architecture and the built world since I was a kid. I remember being at my grandparents’ house building paper models of their living room, trying to be as accurate as I could. Over the course of my education and work experience I have striven to understand the relationship we have to our environments, and how we as architects and designers can influence our communities for the better.

I believe that architecture has the ability to answer some of the most challenging questions of our time. So much of our life is dictated by the built environment.
